Sherpatrick Washington, 26, was found deceased inside her home in the 1000 block of Dalzell Street. First responders pronounced her deceased at the scene at 9:47 p.m. on August 3, 2025. Her death marks the 24th homicide in Shreveport this year and the 29th overall in Caddo Parish. The incident remains under active investigation by the Shreveport Police Department. An autopsy has been ordered to determine the exact cause of death. Authorities urge anyone with information to contact investigators directly."
