Lost to gun violence on February 16, 2025 in Louisville, Kentucky.

LMDC Officer Michael Wehdah earned his citizenship in December 2022 coming from the Republic of Liberia. Officer Wehdah had come to the United States pursuing a degree in criminal justice from the University of Louisville in 2023. Wehdah had been with LMDC since Aug. 9, 2024, when he started the academy.Thank you for your service & RIP.
