Corporal Schreiber succumbed to gunshot wounds on September 11, 2024. Schreiber is an organ donor, and the department says his sacrifice in the line of duty will help save others. He was a 5 year veteran with the Newton County Sheriff's Office. Thank you for your service & RIP.
