Edgar was shot and killed at a party. Edgar was a former Eastern Hills High School football player. Joshel, a friend, described him as a "good guy":
"You’d never find somebody so understand and so willing to help you. If he’d just met you and you told him you needed help, he would find a way. He was as good as they come."
