Kauwela battled with mental illness majority of his life. Ran away from his group home in Oahu where he basically disappeared for a few months. On Tuesday Dec. 9th, we received a call from LA coroners office stating Kauwela was shot in the chest and had died that day. Someone found him lying dead on the sidewalk in LA. Still don't know exactly what happened. All we know is that some heartless man pulled the trigger on my little brother who was sick in the head. The man has been arrested fyi. Supposedly it was caught on video. A video I don't ever want to see. WTF is wrong with people!!! Is there any empathy or compassion left in this world?! Mental illness is out there y'all, everywhere.
