Authorities have identified the victim in the recent Dellwood homicide as Lafranz Deandre Wilson Jr., a 19-year-old from Florissant. North County Police Cooperative officers responded to the scene and launched a full investigation. Detectives canvassed the area, interviewed witnesses, and collected evidence. They recovered 24 shell casings and three firearms, one of which was equipped with a Machinegun Conversion Device. The known facts have been turned over to the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, where the case is still under review. We’ve also seen some very distasteful and disrespectful posts online regarding the victim, including references made in GTA video games. At this time, the details of what actually occurred are still unknown."
