Every day in the U.S. about 108 people are shot dead in one way or another. At GunMemorial.org we try to post pages for all of these people even though the circumstances of their deaths can be drastically different.

Jonathon Schmedding, age 15

Fatally shot on August 28, 2016 in Tucson, Arizona.

Jonathan was caught in the line of fire when he and a group of four others tried to rob another group.

Jonathon's brother has been charged with murder although he did not actually shoot Jonathan. Arizona's felony murder rule blames the accomplices when someone dies while committing a crime.

Jonathon was also known as "Bumper."
