Fatally shot on August 1, 2016 in Randallstown, Maryland.
Korryn was killed in her home during an armed standoff with police. Police had gotten a key to her apartment from her landlord in order to serve outstanding warrants on her and a man in the apartment. The man was wanted for assault and she was wanted for the relatively minor charge of failing to appear in court to face traffic charges. Her 5-year-old son was shot and injured.
