William Chase Jr., age 58

Fatally shot on June 16, 2016 in Jacksonville, Florida.

Also known as "Dexter Levin," Billy shot his ex-fiancé then himself. William was a retired Bridgeport, Connecticut police officer where he worked deep-undercover for thirteen years under an assumed identity. He and the journalist Lennie Grimaldi co-wrote the biographical book titled "Chased: Alone, Black, And Undercover."
